    NISSAN car exhibition

    This slideshow requires JavaScript.

Stefanos, Kevin, Brian and myself really enjoyed this SHOW in O2.

There are almost 5,6sections to pass through and every section provide activities as well. Nowadays, most of exhibitions have massive interactive stuff.

It became essential…and yes! that makes difference between searching infos on online at home and doing something physically.

This exhibition also was all about EXPERIENCE!

I thought this was an extremely useful thing for us all to do, it made us question a lot of issues we are faced with on this project, about footfall threshold and ambience as well as the fun interactive stuff

I’d like to use this music…

These day, I just SO into this song. I really DO love this piano sound.
Graphic design cannot have sound, can it? I hope this song will be use in our exhibitions for something with moving image.
Kanye West, his music video is always inspiring!! I don’t know who video directer is, but Kanye West is always something.
Even the song has finished, I still can hear the piano sound..

    Presentation Notes and initial thinking….

Presentation Notes and initial thinking. 5 Week Block.
Approach the project like an exhibition and develop ‘New’ ways to engage the viewer Consider overlaying images and Photographs to mock up the scenes and worlds. The information could be explained in a ‘Moving Image Piece’  walkthroughs and visualisations could be used to demonstrate the piece.

Areas to contemplate and react upon :

Type – Make text into the Environment:

    * Consumer = The Starting Point.

The strategy and point of reference = The Target Audience

The exhibition begins outside branding and awareness is critical to an experience and awareness for the Visitor = seamless and rewarding .
Concentrate on the detail & micro elements.
Make it Holistic > Make it Relate > Think about the Pace.
What’s The Massage to TAKE AWAY.

Physical issues to reflect upon include details /Fixtures/ Materials /Lighting/Screens/Displays/Mapping/Lattices/Posts/

I would anticipate utilising this project to expand my applications skills in CS5/Maya/Cinema 4D
Also I would produce something ‘Real’ and tactile for this projects and incorporate my love of 35mm photographic film.
For my primary visual and auditory research I shall visit a wide range of museums, including the British Museum ‘Flagship’ retail stores to ‘absorb’ brand Experiences and areas that closely replicate the ‘look and overall feel of our chosen time.
Books/Magazines/DVD’s and a wealth of Online Moving Image Material will be used and my reading list will be published and referenced on a separate page under this blog.

2nd piece of mind map (24th Nov.)

    SOUND ))))))

memory runs with sound…. which is strongly related with music such as hip hop/Jass/ Disco and the  sound keeps people’s memories good or bad all the time!

Display or Exhibition should have a ONE PERFECT STORY (Cliche) which is SUPER important.

Watching one well-made documentary can be much better than reading 10 books.

Outstanding exhibition has to go with the one voice stream which arrange analogues / digital material.
